Happy Saturday and welcome back! In addition to your education and experience sections, your resume can have an “additional information" section where you share skills, passions, and interests that are not covered in other parts of your resume.

Get ready for a quick 30-second read...

🐑 What should this section include? 🐑

Here are examples of bullet points you can include in the additional information section:

  • Languages

    • Example: English (Native), Spanish (Working Proficiency), Chinese (Conversational)

  • Skills

    • Example: Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Excel, Python

  • Interests

    • Example: social media marketing, basketball, Gen Z brands, debate

    • Note: it is acceptable to share both professional-related passions as well as those less related to professional endeavors, as long as they are not embarrassing / will not hurt your candidacy
